Lucy Hale wrote song about huge crush on 'Pretty Little Liars' co-star

Singer Lucy Hale has revealed that she had a huge crush on one of her 'Pretty Little Liars' co-stars and it inspired her album track, 'Lie A Little Better'.

While the beauty won't confess to who the object of her affections was, she did tell MTV News that this crush was really intense and had her fumbling over words, so it made sense to turn such a strong emotion into a song:

"In life, in general I’m not one to fall to pieces over a guy or give up anything; I’m very headstrong. I’m very focused on what I do and very independent, but there was this certain guy that I was acting like an idiot around. I was fumbling over my words, I was stuttering, I couldn’t focus, I couldn’t look him in the eye. I was just crushing so hard on him."

Hale added: "So it’s just kind of a funny way to say that sometimes you just have to cover it up, sometimes you have to lie a little better.” When asked if she still likes the person the song is about, she admitted: "That ship has sailed."
