Irish rockers Kodaline have revealed that hanging out with One Direction's Harry Styles was great because he was 'cool' and really talented. 

The group recently got into the studio with the heartthrob and wrote a song together, and frontman Steve Garrigan has now explained to BANG Showbiz that the young superstar was a lot of fun to spend time with. When asked if he believes Styles might go solo in the future, he said:  

"I have no idea if that's the plan at all. But writing with him was very cool. He came to one of our shows and we were just hanging out afterwards. We all had the next day off so decided to go to the studio together and played music together all day, that was how it all came about really."

Garrigan also recently told MTV News that Styles is a great writer and the track they penned together is "really cool": "He's actually a really good writer. We didn't really know what to expect, but he's really good - great lyrics and he means what he writes. It was a lot of fun. It's a really cool song. We're not really sure what we're doing with it at the moment."
