The new edition of Rock Sound magazine, which sees Australian pop-punk outfit 5 Seconds Of Summer gracing the cover, is now available and the lads have revealed that it's amazing to front such a well-respected rock publication. 

The 'She Looks So Perfect' heartthrobs tweeted: "It's a big deal to me and the boys that we are on the cover of rock sound :) thanks for getting us on there guys! Our @rocksound covers are in UK shops or you can download it on their website now."

Earlier this afternoon, Rock Sound also shared a tweet from its official Twitter page and asked 5SOS fans what they think of the covers and accompanying article: "So a few (okay a LOT) of you have bought all four @5sos covers it seems. Fantastic work. Have you read it already? How did we do?"

Fans appear to have been hugely supportive of the boys' feature in the well-respected alternative music magazine with one replying: "I like how you didn't make them clean cut, you left in all the real stuff, thank you." Another follower tweeted: "Love that you acknowledged the fact you would get a lot of hate for featuring them but did it anyway. OMG ROCKSOUND DID WUT?"

Back in the spring, America's Alternative Press magazine praised the band for bringing the pop-punk genre to the masses: "Our poppy Australian hopefuls may be the spearhead of the sonic assault that leads pop-punk to the mainstream throne."
