Rixton debut at No. 1 on UK singles chart

British band Rixton have shot straight to the top of the UK chart with their debut single ‘Me And My Broken Heart’.

Rixton are celebrating their achievement by having commemorative tattoos. A tattoo artist has been booked for a show they are playing tonight who will ink a broken heart logo onto each member of Rixton.

The rest of this week’s top five is made up by a non-mover from Ariana Grande featuring Iggy Azalea with ‘Problem’ at No. 2, last week’s chart topper from Will.i.am and Cody Wise, ‘It’s My Birthday’, has slipped to No. 3, Ella Henderson’s ‘Ghost’ is down one to No. 4, and George Ezra is another non-mover at No. 5 with ‘Budapest’.

Besides Rixton, other new entries to the chart come from Nicole Scherzinger at No. 6 with ‘Your Love’, Ella Eyre at No. 16 with ‘If I Go’, and Kove’s ‘Way We Are’ featuring Melissa Steel at No. 30.
