Hilary Duff has debuted the video for her new single.

The singer and actress is returning to music with the track 'Chasing The Sun', which was released in the US today (July 29).

Its video has also emerged and it sees office worker Duff dream of hanging out at a beach with a man.

She previously issued a statement about the single, which read: "I couldn’t be more excited to join the RCA family! I love my team there and feel so lucky to be in the company of their talented artists. I came to them with my vision for the album and it has been a real labour of love, but something I am so proud of."

Duff added: "‘Chasing The Sun’ is just a peek into my new album. I’ve worked very hard and the album is a great representation of the experiences I’ve had in my life and where I want to go from here!"

The singer is expected to release her new album later this year.
