Kendall Schmidt, of Big Time Rush fame, is gearing up to release his new band Heffron Drive's debut album, 'Happy Mistakes', and revealed that he's very excited about this project because they have spent a lot of time working on it together.

Speaking about the highly anticipated record, which is due to be released in September, Schmidt confessed that he has been working with some of his idols on the new music and can't wait to share the offering with his fans:

"'Happy Mistakes' is a passion project many years in the making. We've worked really hard on our new album and are so thrilled to finally share our new music with our fans. While this is only the beginning, it's already been an incredible journey. We are so thankful for the support we've received, as well as the opportunity to have worked with some of the greatest artists out there to make it happen." 

In addition to unveiling a debut studio album, Heffron Drive have announced details of a U.S. tour that will kick off at the end of August in Georgia. The final date is set to take place on October 4 in Mexico City.
