Lucy Hale on 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' audition: 'It was a big monologue and very sexual'

Singer and 'Pretty Little Liars' actress Lucy Hale has shed a little light on the nature of her audition for 'Fifty Shades Of Grey'.

While she didn't land a role in the movie adaptation of the best-selling erotic novel, Hale confessed to Cosmopolitan magazine that she was challenged enough by the audition as it was incredibly sexual and left her feeling a bit uncomfortable:

"That audition was so uncomfortable! It’s exactly what you thought it would be: a big monologue but very, very sexual… there were some things that I was so embarrassed to be reading out loud, but it’s one of those things where you have to commit wholeheartedly or you’re going to make a fool of yourself"

During an interview with MTV News last month, the beauty joked that she never wants her grandmother to watch the audition tape because she would be mortified: “Let’s just say I don’t want my grandmother watching this audition tape. It actually was just me [in the audition]. It was a two-page monologue of exactly what you would think it would be."
