Scooter Braun on his artists: 'I'm like the parent - I pick up the pieces and they push me away'

Music manager Scooter Braun, who has worked with the likes of The Wanted, Justin Bieber, and Ariana Grande, has opened up about being responsible for such young acts and confessed that it's tough.

During a new exclusive interview with Details magazine, the music mogul manager explained that he takes on the role of a parent almost because the stars he looks after start young and go through a very transitional period of time with him:

"I was the parent, I'd have been there for the first 13 years. I'm picking up the pieces. [Justin's] 20. Ariana Grande, who I also manage, is 21. When they make a mistake, I have to literally look them in the eye and say, 'It doesn't matter that you pushed me away, I'm here to help you now'."

"I said this to two of my artists the other day, as a joke: 'Maybe it's time for me to have my own kids and stop raising other people's poorly'."
