Britain's Got Talent's Collabro set to end Ed Sheeran's UK albums chart reign

Collabro are on course to dislodge Ed Sheeran from the top of the UK albums chart.

The singer-songwriter's second record 'x' has been No.1 in the country for eight weeks in a row.

However, the Official Charts Company confirmed today (August 20) in their midweek update that Britain's Got Talent winners Collabro's debut record 'Stars' is now No.1.

It is outselling its nearest rival - the Courteeners' new entry 'Concrete Love' - by more than two copies to one.

Sheeran's 'x' is No.3 whilst Scottish rockers Twin Atlantic follow at No.4 with their new album 'Great Divide'.

Completing the top five on the midweek update is Sam Smith's 'In The Lonely Hour'.
