Lilly Wood top UK singles chart with 'Prayer In C'

The UK has a new number one single in the form of ‘Prayer In C’ from duo Lilly Wood and producer Robin Schulz.

‘Prayer In C’ – which has also gone to No. 1 in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxemburg, The Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland – has knocked David Guetta and Sam Martin from the top spot, leaving ‘Lovers On The Sun’ at No. 3 this week.

Another high scoring new entry comes from Maroon 5 at No. 2 with ‘Maps’.

At No. 4 is Taylor Swift with the non-mover ‘Shake It Off’. Completing the top five is ‘Am I Wrong’ by Nico and Vinz, down three to No. 5.

New entries to the rest of Top 40 come from Lethal Bizzle at No. 11 alongside JME and Tempa T on ‘WorkOut’; Ariana Grande's 'Break Free' featuring Zedd blasts straight in at No. 20; and Katy Perry’s ‘How We Do’ has climbed 20 places to reach No. 38.
