Keith Richards to release first solo album in 22 yearsKeith Richards has confirmed that he will release a new solo album. The Rolling Stones guitarist's last effort came in the shape of 1992's 'Main Offender'. However, he told the AP that he is currently sitting on a finished third solo record, with its release date expected to land in mid-2015. Richards said: "I have a solo record finished, but I don't want to put it out while the Stones are working, so I'm thinking next June. "We had no rush. I think we spent a couple of years. [Producer] Steve [Jordan] and I are always working somewhere else, but every month or two we'd come down here and do a couple a day and knock off a couple of tracks. Nearly every record I've made is...'You've got another five days', but this one we're taking our time." When asked meanwhile if he was a fan of social media, the 70-year-old replied: "I stay well away. I have no computer at all. I have a little tablet that I knock around with. No passwords. I mean, I don't want to be hacked to death." Follow us: @Pressparty on Twitter / Pressparty on Facebook. Watch Keith Richards perform live below:
