SNL announces Ariana Grande and Maroon 5 as new season's musical guests

America's 'Saturday Night Live' has confirmed details of some musical guests that will grace its stage for the upcoming new season of the show.

The premiere episode will air on Saturday, September 27 and will be hosted by 'Guardians of the Galaxy' actor Chris Pratt, but musical entertainment will come from 'Problem' songstress Ariana Grande.

October 4 will see live music from Maroon 5 and the episode is set to be presented by actress and comedienne Sarah Silverman.

Grande, meanwhile, has just confirmed details of a full U.S. headlining tour that is due to kick off next year on February 25 in Kansas City, Missouri. The jaunt will come to an end on April 16 in Vancouver. Tickets for the tour will go on sale on September 20 via LiveNation.
