Rudimental set for live show over the Atlantic Ocean

'Feel The Love' hitmakers Rudimental are set to play the first ever live-streamed gig over the Atlantic Ocean next month.

Alongside Gorgon City, they will perform live onboard the inaugural flight of Virgin Atlantic's new 787 aircraft on October 23, as the plane flies between London and Atlanta.

The group's very own Amir Amor opened up about the experience and confessed that it's very exciting and he's really looking forward to it: "We are all buzzing for this gig. We have played some pretty mental shows over the past two years but I think this is going to be a memorable one!"

Gorgon City's Kyle Gibbon added: "We are really close with the Rudimental boys and have supported them on tour in the UK and Australia this year. I can't wait to play back-to-back with them on the flight and I think we are all going to bring a few specials to the mix!"

Rudimental are also offering fans the chance to win a spot on the flight and you can enter the competition by heading to their Twitter page and clicking the link to the contest, which is in association with Virgin Atlantic.

A post on Virgin Atlantic's blog explains the event in more detail: "Titled #FlightDecks, the gig will see Rudimental play back-to-back with North London duo Gorgon City in a DJ collaboration taking place 30,000 feet above the Atlantic. The one-time-only DJ sets will be streamed live on Thursday 23rd October 2014 and will be available to hear via SoundCloud immediately afterwards. Fans of Rudimental and Gorgon City can also register for a chance to win seats on the inaugural flight of the 787 at flightdecks.virgin-atlantic.com."
