Ed Sheeran on hacking scandal: 'It has happened to me before and it's creepy'

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has just spoken out about the recent naked photo leak that impacted celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence and model Kate Upton, and admitted that he feels for them because he's had personal accounts hacked into before.

Speaking to MTV News at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, the 'Lego House' superstar explained that it's horrid to suffer such an intrusion of privacy and he finds it so 'creepy':

"I think live and let live. I think people should be allowed to do what they want and it’s weird. I’ve had my stuff hacked before and its just creepy.”

Sheeran, meanwhile, recently opened up about his success and told reporters that he doesn't like to 'bask in it' because it's dangerous to be in that kind of headspace: "I don't really want to bask in it. I like being able to share it with people, I like being able to fly my family out to places, put them on holidays and stuff like that, be able to go to a bar with my friends and being able to just say 'drink up'."
