Charli XCX delays UK album release

Charli XCX has pushed back the release of her next album in the UK.

The singer was originally due to unleash 'Sucker' in the country on October 20.

However, the Brit has now revealed that the record will land in January next year.

Speaking in a statement, the 'Fancy' star said:

"I'm moving the release of 'Sucker' back to January 26. 'Boom Clap' is still getting so much love all over the world, which is crazy, and it just makes sense so I have proper time to focus on the album launch.

"The support I've received this year has been mind-blowing. As you know, I'll also be supporting Katy Perry on her European arena tour in February! I can't wait to see you all. I promise it'll be worth the wait."

Charli XCX's single 'Break The Rules' will precede the album on October 12.
