The Veronicas on 5SOS: 'We hung out and wrote some songs together - we love them'

'Untouched' beauties The Veronicas have opened up about their friendship with fellow Australian hitmakers 5 Seconds Of Summer and admitted that they have spent a lot of time with the heartthrobs in the past.

During a recent interview with Nova FM, they were asked about the fact that they had previously mentioned 5SOS and quizzed on 'if anything ever happened there', to which they confessed that they wrote a few tracks together when they hung out:

"We love those boys. We met them years ago. We're so proud of everything they've done and they're living the dream. We wrote some fun little songs together in our spare time. Not any full songs - just stupid songs on guitar."

When asked if they would like to work with the lads in the future now that they're an established band, both Lisa and Jessica agreed they would go one further and suggested a joint tour: "Oh that would be so fun. Oh, of course. Maybe tour together or something - spend some time - because we love them."
