The Vamps share the worst things about tour life

British pop-rock quartet The Vamps are currently on their UK headlining tour and frontman Brad Simpson sat down for an interview with the Birmingham Mail, in which he opened up about what's great and what stresses them out about life on the road.

Speaking to the newspaper, the heartthrob admitted that being away from loved ones and not having a 'base' to call home are the two things about this phase in their career that are the hardest to deal with:

"I do come home when I can and I really miss my family – that’s the worst part of the whole thing. I was back two weeks ago for a couple of days." Simpson went onto reveal how he likes to spend his downtime, adding: "I really like spas and to sit in a pool for two hours of a day is great. I also enjoy sleeping."

“We haven’t got a base – our base is our hotel room. We have been on tour for a year and a half non-stop. We come off one tour and go on another but playing as a live band is the favourite bit of the job.”

Simpson then teased that despite being the subject of many girls' affections, he is still unattached and isn't dating at the moment: "I am still a struggling single man, no one understands me!"
