Nicki Minaj and LuvBug impact UK iTunes chart

Nicki Minaj and LuvBug have hit the top ten of the UK iTunes singles chart.

Minaj released her latest single 'Anaconda' in the country on Sunday (October 5) and it is performing well already.

At the time of writing, the tune is No.2 on the iTunes list behind official No.1 Meghan Trainor.

Ella Henderson's latest effort 'Glow' is No.4, whilst LuvBug's debut single 'Resonance' is a new entry at No.8.

Pressparty recently caught up with LuvBug's Marvin Humes and JKAY, with the group saying that their sound represents a shift away from the likes of Humes' previous band JLS.

The singer said: "This is a long-term project for us and it's completely different to what I've been in before. We've started at the grass roots really, with specialist radio and pirate radio and online - it's taken quite a long time to get out there. The reaction has been great. This is just the start for us and we want to be building the LuvBug message and sound."
