One Direction recently finished their extensive Where You Are tour and the father of heartthrob Harry Styles, Des, has revealed that he's so proud of the fans and how great they've been throughout the jaunt. 

Des Styles took to his official Twitter page earlier today (October 7) and told his followers that he thinks the fans of his son's band are amazing because not only are they supportive, but they allow the lads to have such incredible opportunities in their career together:

"We had a great time in Tampa and Miami, fab to meet all the fans and the boys. Always reminded who makes them who they are - the fans! X"

One Direction played their final date on their Where We Are world stadium tour on Sunday (October 5) in Miami and member Liam Payne posted a series of messages to his official Twitter page, in which he thanked everyone who attended for making the run so memorable:

"On behalf of me and the boys, this has been the most amazing tour we have ever done in our lives. Thank you so, so much. You guys are incredible. I know sometimes people think that we take it for granted, but I want to say on behalf of me and guys, we love you very , very much. You really do mean the world to us. We don't always get it right, but you guys are always there for us."
