George Ezra secures another week at No. 1 on UK albums chart

After waiting 14 weeks to reach No. 1 last week, George Ezra is now spending a second consecutive week at No. 1 with his debut album ‘Wanted On Voyage’.

The rest of this week’s top five is made up by Ed Sheeran up one to No. 2 with ‘X’, Sam Smith’s ‘In The Lonely Hour’ is down one to No. 3, Barbara Streisand is up one to No. 4 with ‘Partners’, and the No. 5 spot is filled by this week’s highest new entry from Hozier with his self-titled debut album.

Other than Hozier at No. 5, there are a further 13 new entries to this week’s album chart.

New entries to the top ten come from Caribou at No. 8 with ‘Our Love’, Johnny Marr’s second solo outing ‘Playland’ at No. 9, and Gorgon City at No. 10 with their debut titled ‘Sirens’.

Within the top 20 are new entries from Bryan Adams with ‘Tracks Of My Years at No. 11, Lady Antebellum at No. 12 with ‘747’, Stevie Nicks’ solo ‘24 Karat: Songs From The Vault’ at No. 14, the self-titled ‘Lower Than Atlantis’ at No. 16, Ali Campbell at No. 18 with ‘Silhouette’, and Jamie Cullum’s ‘Interlude’ at No. 19.

The rest of chart sees new entries from Flying Lotus at No. 24 with ‘You’re Dead’, Foster & Allen’s ‘Gold & Silver Days’ at No. 28,  Jackson Browne’s ‘Standing In The Breach’ at No. 31, and Weezer’s ‘Everything Will Be Alright In The End’ at No. 37.
