Jordin Sparks: 'New music is coming sooner than you think'

Songstress Jordin Sparks has teased that new material is coming really soon.

The hitmaker, who recently split from her boyfriend of three years Jason Derulo, told BuddyTV.com that she has been working on new material for a while now, but didn't want to make a promise to her fans that she couldn't keep:

"New music is coming sooner than you think. At beginning of this year I told myself I wouldn't amp anything up. I didn't wanna build up expectations and then not deliver." She went onto add that her devoted followers can expect to hear something before year comes to an end: "We wanna put something out before end of this year. I'm doing more collaborations - I'm excited about that!"

Sparks, meanwhile, recently spoke to Wendy Williams about ending her relationship with Derulo and confessed that her family has been incredibly supportive: "The great thing - and the one thing - I really am blessed with is the support of my family. They're right there if I need them. My dad brought me BBQ food yesterday. They're great."
