Country singer and 'Pretty Little Liars' actress Lucy Hale has revealed that she will be performing live at the 2014 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. 

Writing on her official Twitter page this afternoon (November 3), the beauty explained that she can't wait for the event to take place because it's such an iconic American tradition: "So excited I get to perform at this years Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!!"

An official press release about the parade explains that other stars confirmed to appear include Hilary Duff, 'Shower' songstress Becky G, Nick Jonas, The Madden Brothers, 'All About That Bass' beauty Meghan Trainor, and British pop-rock outfit The Vamps.

The 88th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will air live on NBC on Thursday, November 27 from 9am until noon. More information will be revealed as the event draws closer. 

Hale, meanwhile, spoke out recently about self-confidence and told Cosmopolitan magazine that she uses filters to make her photos look better than they might otherwise just like everyone else: 

"[Pretty Little Liars] is about how we look too. That’s terrifying sometimes because you’re breaking out or you feel gross and you still have to be in front of the camera. We’ll post pictures on Instagram and people will be like, ‘Y’all are so flawless.’ Little do they know it’s fake hair, fake eyelashes, and a good filter. Little girls see that and think they have to be like that."
