The 2015 People's Choice Awards will take place next year at Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Wednesday, January 7 and the full list of categories and nominees has now been unveiled. 

British singer-songwriter Sam Smith is up for 4 prizes at the ceremony, including Favourite Male Artist, Favourite Breakout Artist, Favourite Album for 'In The Lonely Hour', and Favourite Song for 'Stay With Me'. 

Australian pop-punk heartthrobs 5 Seconds Of Summer are nominated for Favourite Breakout Artist and UK based boyband One Direction are in the running for the title of Favourite Group. 'Thinking Out Loud' superstar Ed Sheeran has a total of 2 nods, which are in the Favourite Album for 'x' and Favourite Male Artist categories, and country-pop crossover beauty Taylor Swift is up for Favourite Song for 'Shake It Off', Favourite Pop Artist, and Favourite Female Artist. 

'Pretty Little Liars' actress-turned-singer Lucy Hale, who will perform at this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, is up for Favourite Female Country Artist and Favourite Cable TV Actress, and Lady Gaga's boyfriend, Taylor Kinney, has been nominated for Favourite Dramatic TV Actor for his role in 'Chicago Fire'. 

Voting for the 2015 People's Choice Awards is due to end on Thursday, December 4 and you can click here to cast your selections for each category.
