Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding are among the music names confirmed to appear at this year's Royal Variety Performance.

The annual event is taking place at the Palladium in London on November 13 and a host of talent will perform.

Sheeran, Goulding, Demi Lovato, Dame Shirley Bassey and Bette Midler are some of the musical stars due to take to the stage.

The fundraising event - which is being hosted by comedian Michael McIntyre - will also see Collabro, Alfie Boe and Ladysmith Black Mambazo's Inala perform.

Comedy will be represented by acts such as Russell Kane and Jack Whitehall.

The show will be broadcast in the UK on ITV in December.
