Meghan Trainor: 'I used to try and hide my curves in clothes'Blonde beauty Meghan Trainor has revealed that writing her song 'All About That Bass', which has been a smash since its release, was cathartic as it helped her to embrace her curves and be proud of having an enviable body type that the media often wrongly suggests needs work. Speaking to the New York Daily News, the songstress explained that there's no hatred in the hit single and instead she wrote it to help her own sense of self-image and to boost the body confidence of people around the world: "I didn't work this hard to hate on skinny people. I wrote the song to help my body confidence - and to help others. It's just about having that confidence, and I never had that. I used to try to hide my curves in clothes." Trainor, who co-wrote Fifth Harmony's new single 'Sledgehammer', recently announced details of her first ever north American headlining tour that will kick off next year in Vancouver, British Columbia on February 11. The full list of dates, which will go on sale at 10am PST on Saturday, November 8, can be seen below: 2/11 Vancouver, BC, CA Vogue Theatre Follow us: @Pressparty on Twitter / Pressparty on Facebook.
