Jordin Sparks gives her younger self advice: 'I'd say you're on track, don't doubt things so much'

Songstress Jordin Sparks has revealed that if she could go back in time and give her teenage self some advice she knows exactly what she would say.

During a new interview on 'The View', the beauty explained that she definitely has words of wisdom for her younger self as she has learned a lot lately:

"I'd say: 'You're on the right track; don't doubt so much. And for the fans, if there's anything you want to do in life, it does require hard work. Be kind to people, show up on time - practice, practice, practice - and do your research if that's what your respective field requires. But if you're going to do it, make sure it's what you want to do and tackle it head on.'"

Back in October, Sparks opened up about new music and promised that it's 'coming sooner' than people might be expecting: "New music is coming sooner than you think. At beginning of this year I told myself I wouldn't amp anything up. I didn't wanna build up expectations and then not deliver. We wanna put something out before end of this year. I'm doing more collaborations - I'm excited about that!"
