Meghan Trainor on Harry Styles: 'We bonded, he's an amazing songwriter'

Singer Meghan Trainor has revealed that when she met One Direction superstar Harry Styles she was blown away at how down to earth and talented he was.

Ryan Seacrest reported today (November 11) that Trainor is rumoured to be working on a collaboration with Harry Styles, but when questioned about it was careful not to give away any information. He instead quoted the 'All About That Bass' songstress as praising the 'Story Of My Life' heartthrob's songwriting skills:

“I met [Harry]. He’s an amazing dude. He’s really chill. When I first met him, I was scared that he’d be like a big pop star and like super famous guy. But he was just like, ‘What’s up?’ And he’s like a 21-year-old dude, and I’m 20. So we bonded. It’s great … I think he’s an amazing writer."

Trainor, meanwhile, recently announced details of her first ever north American headlining tour that will kick off next year in Vancouver, British Columbia on February 11. The full list of dates, which will go on sale at 10am PST on Saturday, November 8, can be seen below:
