Pink Floyd on course for UK No.1 album

Pink Floyd are in pole position to top the UK albums chart this weekend.

The prog-rockers released their latest effort 'The Endless River' on Monday (November 10).

The Official Charts Company revealed today (November 12) in their midweek update that it has shifted over 92,000 units to land at No.1.

At No.2 on the midweek list is Foo Fighters' new album 'Sonic Highways', whilst Sam Smith's 'In The Lonely Hour' is No.3.

Following at No.4 is Ed Sheeran's 'x', which drops from No.1, whilst Queen's new collection 'Forever' comes in at No.5.

Cheryl meanwhile is No.6 with her new entry 'Only Human'.
