Band Aid 30 unveils new trailer for 2014 single and offers fans the chance to attend the recording

Bob Geldof has revealed that this year's Band Aid 30 single will be a recreation of the 1984 classic 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' and proceeds will be donated to the fight against deadly disease, Ebola.

A host of amazing artists have been recruited to record the charity track, including boyband One Direction, vocal powerhouse Adele, 'Lego House' sensation Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, Olly Murs, and Sam Smith

Last night (November 12), a promotional video for the 2014 offering was uploaded to YouTube, which shows the original version of the song being recorded and then footage of the Ebola outbreak coverage is played as viewers are urged to buy a copy of the single when it's released.

The official recording is due to take place this coming Saturday (November 15) and Band Aid 30 has launched a competition that offers one lucky winner and their friend the chance to attend the event, which you can enter by clicking here

It has now been confirmed that the single will premiere on Sunday, November 16 during Britain's 'The X Factor' and it will be released on Monday, November 17.
