Ed Sheeran and Lily Allen to auction off clothes for charity

British superstars Ed Sheeran, Lily Allen and singer Eliza Doolittle are among names who have donated items of clothing to an online auction, which will help raise money for charitable organisations.

The auction is due to kick off on November 24 through Tags-On.com and will run until the end of the month. Funds raised from the sales will go to the celebrities' different charities of choice. The sale of Sheeran's items, which include Fenchurch and sports brand Puma T-shirts (pictured left), will benefit U.K. children's hospice and a homeless charity

The clothing donated by songstress Lily Allen, meanwhile, will benefit War Child once they've been sold off via the auction, and Eliza Doolittle has chosen to support Oxfam.

Ed Sheeran recently showed support for the homelessness campaign No One Turned Away, which calls on the UK government to revise its policy on helping single homeless people, and he signed a petition for the cause. Speaking about it, he explained:

"When I volunteered at Crisis I met people who'd been forced to sleep on the streets. Homelessness is a horrifying experience and no-one should have to go through it. That's why I've signed the Crisis No One Turned Away petition. Right now, the system is failing homeless people. We need to demand change so that every homeless person can get the help they need."
