Bob Dylan plays gig for one fan

Bob Dylan treated one fan to a special gig at the weekend.

The iconic folk musician played in front of an audience of one - superfan Fredrik Wikingsson - on Sunday (November 23) at Philadelphia's Academy of Music.

The show was part of Swedish film festival Experiment Ensam (Experiment Alone), which aims to bring large scale events to just one person.

Dylan and his band ran through covers such as Buddy Holly's 'Heartbeat', Fats Domino's 'Blueberry Hill' and Chuck Willis' 'It's Too Late (She's Gone)'.

The fan commented: "I was smiling so much it was like I was on ecstasy. My jaw hurt for hours afterwards because I couldn't stop smiling."

Speaking about when he arrived at the venue, Wikingsson said:

"At this point I still thought I was about to get Punk'd. I thought some asshole would walk onstage and just laugh at me. I just couldn't fathom that Dylan would actually do this."
