Arctic Monkeys deny Malaysia gig after fake gig poster emerges

Arctic Monkeys have been forced into denying future gig plans after a fake concert poster found its way online.

The group took to Twitter today (November 28) to state that they have no shows scheduled at the moment.

The move came in response to a poster circulated on the internet which suggested the band will play in Kuala Lumpur on February 28.

Arctic Monkeys shared the poster on Twitter, adding: "Following our show in Rio [on November 15], there are no further live shows planned. Please disregard fraudulent promotions.

"For all official news and show announcements, head to http://arcticmonkeys.com."

However, the upload of the poster on the social networking website has caused many confused fans to think that they are indeed playing the gig.
