Queen's Roger Taylor says Adam Lambert has an 'insane' voice

Queen drummer Roger Taylor has publicly praised Adam Lambert's talent.

The singer has fronted the band over the last couple of years, including during a North America tour in the summer.

Speaking on ITV's Loose Women on Thursday (November 27), Taylor lauded Lambert's voice and said that late singer Freddie Mercury would be a big fan.

He said: "[Lambert] is magnificent. He has an insane voice and he fits in very well.

"He is very theatrical, so obviously he fits in with us...and I call him Camp Freddie. Or Camp Elvis, really."

When asked if Mercury would approve of Lambert, Taylor replied:

"He would be the number one fan. Freddie always loved the great singers."
