One Direction's Liam Payne: "We don't really see each other on our time off"

Liam Payne has revealed how he and his One Direction band mates tend to spend their free time when not working.

The 'Night Changes' singer explained during an Australian television interview that he, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik tend to go their separate ways when they are not at work.

Liam stated: "On our time off we just like to chill and not really do much. We figured out recently that, it's not a conscious decision, but we don't really see each other on our time off, because we don't get that much time at home, so when we do go home it's family time, not friends time."

Payne's comment comes after news reports of One Direction travelling separately and a video of him turning his smile on and off whilst posing for pictures with fans going viral.

Louis however spoke up to express his and the group's continuing enjoyment of being together:

"We're really happy. We're just taking one step at a time. We're really enjoying it while it's great now, and we're just going to hopefully enjoy it and see where that takes us."
