Fifth Harmony dismiss Little Mix comparison: 'We're doing two different sounds'

Fifth Harmony have suggested that similarities between themselves and Little Mix are wide of the mark.

The two girl groups have often been compared due to their X Factor beginnings on either side of the pond.

Speaking to Digital Spy, however, Fifth Harmony singer Dinah Jane Hansen said that whilst they share some things with Little Mix, their music is different.

She said: "Oh I think [the comparisons] are harmless. I actually love Little Mix and I think they're doing a great job. It's funny how fans compare us so much because there is actually no comparison. We're all doing the same concept of girl power, but we're doing two different kind of sounds.

"We actually hung out with the girls on the Demi Lovato tour and they're super funny! They were cracking us up. We did an interview where we were interviewing each other and I feel like that was the moment we actually got to click."

Fifth Harmony meanwhile are due to release their debut UK single 'BO$$' on December 7.

They will perform the track on the UK X Factor on the same day.
