VEVO, BING and Yahoo! share this year's most popular music streams and searches

The end of 2014 is fast approaching and music streaming sites along with search engines have starting providing their end of year data

Search engine Bing has revealed that Beyoncé is its most searched for artist and closely behind at No.2 is Miley Cyrus. Katy Perry is at No.3, Britney Spears comes in at 4, and Canadian sensation Justin Bieber rounds off the Top 5. 

Yahoo! meanwhile has shared its biggest music searches of the past 12 months and put Ariana Grande at No.3 and 'Wrecking Ball' superstar Miley Cyrus at No.8. VEVO unveiled a list of the most-played artists and the full rundown can be seen here:

2. “All About That Bass” by Meghan Trainor
3. “Dark Horse” by Katy Perry ft. Juicy J
4. “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift
5. “Anaconda” by Nicki Minaj
6. “Problem” by Ariana Grande ft. Iggy Azalea
7. “Chandelier” by Sia
8. “Rich Gang” Lifestyle ft. Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan
9. “Loyal” by Chris Brown ft. Lil Wayne, Tyga
10. “Stay With Me” by Sam Smith

Online music store subscription service Rhapsody named Eminem as its most streamed artist and also shared a list of the most streamed songs of 2014, which are 'Happy' by Pharrell Williams, 'Dark Horse' by Katy Perry, 'All of Me' by John Legend, 'Fancy' by Iggy Azalea, and 'Royals' by Lorde.
