Pharrell Williams and The Prodigy added to Isle of Wight festival

Pharrell Williams and The Prodigy are among the latest names to be announced for next year's Isle of Wight festival.

Also joining the bill for the June event are US two-piece The Black Keys.

The news follows confirmation that Fleetwood Mac will headline the festival's Sunday night (June 14).

The Prodigy and The Black Keys will co-headline the Friday night (June 12), with the Saturday (June 13) headliner due to be announced soon.

Speaking meanwhile about the new announcement, promoter John Giddings said:

"I think younger bands of course can do it as well, but the golden age of rock and roll is past."

Last year's festival saw the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Biffy Clyro headline.
