Lily Allen and Leona Lewis are two new additions to PPL's Most Played Christmas Songs of the Year list.

The UK chart sees Pogues' old favourite 'Fairytale of New York' at No.1.

However, Allen's 2013 song 'Somewhere Only We Know' is at No.2, whilst Leona Lewis's recent tune 'One More Sleep' is No.9.

It is the first time two British females have featured on the list.

Other highly placed tunes include Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You', whilst Wham!'s 'Last Christmas' is another favourite.
