X Factor victor Ben Haenow is now No.1 on the UK iTunes chart.

The singer won the show this weekend and he instantly released the track 'Something I Need' as his winner's single.

At the time of writing, it has shot to No.1 on the UK iTunes to overtake Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk'.

The single is a cover of OneRepublic's 2013 song.

Haenow beat off competition from favourite Fleur East and Andrea Faustini to win the competition with over 57% of the votes.

Simon Cowell said after the singer's win: "This what you've waited for for 12 years. This is what turning into a star feels like.

"You deserved it, you're a great guy. This is your moment."
