Simon Cowell: 'I still can't watch One Direction losing on 'The X Factor''

Music mogul Simon Cowell has revealed that he refuses to watch the moment when One Direction didn't win 'The X Factor' because it's still too painful.

During a recent question and answer session about the 'X Factor', the music mogul confessed that he still won't watch footage of the lads losing out as he feels as though they should have won the vocal talent contest:

"I still can't watch the moment when One Direction came third. I was so arrogant that we were going to win."

Cowell went onto add: "So even though they've done well, I still would've liked for them to be able to say they won 'The X Factor'."

He recently opened up about how hard the 1D boys work and told The Sun’s TV magazine that they are very much overdue taking a break: “They can't carry on doing the amount of stuff they've been doing for long because they'll burn out - it's a high-class problem. But they don't complain about working hard.”
