Taylor Swift is among the first announced acts due to perform at next year's Brit Awards.

The US star will play the event at London's O2 Arena on February 25.

She is joined on the bill by Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith.

The ceremony will be hosted by Ant and Dec after long-running presenter James Corden stepped down.

Despite her reputation, '1989' star Swift has yet to win a Brit award.

She was nominated for International Breakthrough Artist in 2010 and International Female Solo Artist in 2013, but failed to win either.
