Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan were among the winners at the first American Country Countdown Awards.

The event was held at Nashville's Music City Center on Monday (December 15) as top names in country were honoured.

Aldean bagged the coveted Artist of the Year gong on the night.

Luke Bryan meanwhile won three awards, including Male Vocalist of the Year. He also came home with the Collaboration of the Year and Digital Song of the Year prizes for his feature work.

Miranda Lambert won Female Vocalist of the Year, with Florida Georgia Line pocketing the Group/Duo award.
