The likes of Lorde and Skrillex have appeared in an amusing new video for Australian radio station Triple J.

The network have launched the clip to promote their upcoming Hottest 100 poll, which finds the top songs of the year.

The skit sees the station ask a plethora of musicians for their ideas for a theme tune for the poll.

Lorde makes a short cameo before leaving the room, whilst Skrillex 'drops some bass'.

Rick Astley and Gotye also make funny guest appearances alongside the likes of Vance Joy, Illy and The Presets.

The 2015 Hottest 100 poll will announce its results on January 26.
