Ben Haenow says performing with Ed Sheeran was a 'dream come true'

Ben Haenow has reflected on his recent duet with Ed Sheeran.

The two singers performed together at London's Wembley Arena earlier this month to run through Sheeran's 'Thinking Out Loud' at the X Factor final.

The collaboration didn't do Haenow's chances of winning the show any harm, with the singer ultimately beating off competition from Fleur East and Andrea Faustini to reign supreme.

Speaking after bagging this year's Christmas No.1 single, Haenow told the Official Charts Company:

"Literally every day has been a pinch myself moment. I've been doing stuff that I never would have dreamed I'd be doing.

"To have won the competition and to have a Christmas Number 1, to have done everything that I've done this past week…It's been busy, but I want to be busy, I want to be working so I'm grateful for everything I've been doing.

"Being on stage with Ed Sheeran is a dream come true. To do that on the stage at Wembley is something I never dreamed would happen."
