AC/DC's Phil Rudd: 'I want my job and reputation back'

AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd has stated that he wants to regain his place in the band.

The Australian's future in the iconic rockers is unsure after he received a number of high profile charges.

He was alleged to have conspired to hire a hitman to kill - a charge which was later dropped - and he is currently accused of threatening to kill and possessing illegal drugs.

Rudd denies the charges, but he was recently left out of photo and video shoots.

Speaking to New Zealand's One News, the drummer said that he now hopes to regain his place in AC/DC.

Rudd said: "I'm going back to work with AC/DC and I don't care who likes it or who doesn't. I want my job back and I want my reputation back."

The group meanwhile are due play in London and Glasgow next summer.
