BBC offering global live stream of Adam Lambert and Queen's New Year's Eve performance

On December 31, iconic rock band Queen and vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert will be performing a very special New Year's Eve set together in London and it has now been announced that the BBC will be offering a global live stream so that people across the world can tune in and watch.

The event is set to take place at the Westminster Central Hall in England's capital to welcome in 2015 and it will be broadcast "one time only" live online from 23.15 to 00.30 GMT. Charlotte Moore, Controller of BBC One, explained in a statement: “BBC One will be kicking off 2015 in spectacular style with an exclusive live concert from rock legends Queen and Adam Lambert.  Now the rest of the world will be able to join us for a night to remember!"

Earlier this month, drummer Roger Taylor admitted that he is very excited for the concert: "I never imagined we would be around to usher in the year of 2015, what a thrill! We promise you a great night." Lambert said: "Words can’t describe how excited I am, we are going to kick off 2015 in style!"
