Benji Madden and Cameron Diaz have confirmed reports that they have tied the knot.

The a rep for the pair revealed to People that they married earlier this week.

They said: "[They] were married [Monday] evening in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles.

"We couldn't be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends."

Madden, who found fame with Good Charlotte, has been dating Diaz since May.

The celebrity couple got engaged before Christmas.
