Country star and 'The Voice' coach Blake Shelton will be heading to the stage of 'Saturday Night Live' later this month as both the musical guest and the host for an upcoming episode. 

On January 24, the sexy musician will perform live and he is also set to take over hosting duties for the evening, making him the first person to tackle both roles at the same time this season. This will also be Shelton's first time on the show. 

The episode airing on January 17, meanwhile, will be hosted by funny man Kevin Hart and 'Elastic Heart' songstress Sia has been confirmed as the musical guest.

Presenter and 'The Voice' host Carson Daly took to his official Twitter page today to congratulate Shelton on the exciting engagement and joked: "Congrats @blakeshelton on the music AND hosting #SNL gig Jan 24th. Just goes to prove kids... you can literally drink your way to the top."
