Meghan Trainor curates makeup collection for Clinique

Meghan Trainor has partnered with American cosmetics brand Clinique to release her own collection of favourite beauty products and a makeup bag.

The ‘All About That Bass’ star has selected her most-loved items by Clinique, deigned a makeup bag and shot campaign images to promote the endorsement deal (see images below).

Speaking to Teen Vogue about why she decided to team up with Clinique, Meghan explained:

“It was perfect for me, because at the time that I was approached about the collaboration, I was struggling with my acne from pounding so much makeup on for performances — and of course one slice of pizza and you get five pimples (it's a sacrifice but it's worth it). And when my makeup artist told me that Clinique was great for your skin, that's when I really got excited.

She added: "When they told me I was going to design a bag I said 'I won't do it unless there's glitter,' so that explains the sequins.”

Talking about her choice cosmetics the Grammy-nominated singer said:

“When I'm not performing I wear the Chubby Stick Baby Tint in Poppin' Poppy because it gives you a little color and it's really moisturizing so you don't have that chapped-lip-life, which I struggle with in this cold weather. But when I'm on camera I like the Long Last Glosswear in Kissyfit and it's got a little sparkle in it, which is my favorite!”

Meghan Trainor’s Clinique collection will be available online from January 13.
