Michelle Williams has denied that her Destiny's Child bandmate Beyoncé is pregnant.

Speculation that the singer is due to enter motherhood for a second time emerged recently after she posted an image on Instagram.

The picture sees Beyoncé - whose first child Blue Ivy was born in 2012 - buried in sand with what appears to be a baby bump sculpted on her stomach area.

Speaking on The View, however, former bandmate Williams said the gossip is just wishful thinking.

She said: "First of all, if you look at the picture, the baby bump is probably where her knees probably really are...Just stop it, stop it.

"You know, when she was pregnant, people said that she wasn't pregnant. There's just no truth to it. Sorry!"
